Jasper Group Announces Governor David Paterson and MySpace Co-Founder Joe Abrams As Founding Members

Former New York Governor And Legendary Entrepreneur To Have Integral Role In Job Channel Network And Other Jasper Properties




New York - The Jasper Group Inc. has announced that former New York Governor David Paterson and MySpace Co-Founder Joe Abrams have signed on as founding members of the recruiting and media company. Both Governor Paterson and Mr. Abrams bring decades of business and entrepreneurial  experience to the development of Jasper properties.  Governor Paterson, who currently hosts a daily show on WOR radio, will also lend his talent and expertise to Jasper's soon to be launched Job Channel Network.

Governor Paterson currently hosts The Governor David Paterson Show on WOR Radio and serves as a board member of the MTA. A leading advocate for the visually and physically impaired, Governor Paterson is a member of the National Federation of the Blind and serves on the board of the Achilles Track Club. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia University and a J.D. from Hofstra Law School.


In addition to co-founding the groundbreaking social networking site MySpace, Mr. Abrams founded The Software Toolworks, which is responsible for popular software titles such as Chessmaster and Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. He currently serves on several advisory boards and has sold companies for in excess of one Billion dollars. Mr. Abrams holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration.
